Jorge S. Milanese
Jorge S. Milanese, is the manager for Latin America Upstream Business Development of Repsol YPF in Houston. Jorge started his industry career at YPF in the downstream part of the business and since 1998 he has had positions of increasing responsibilities in upstream business development, with “hands-on” roles in all the major transactions that Repsol YPF has done in the region. Before joining YPF, Jorge served in the Argentina Navy as naval aviation officer.
Jorge earned a B.S./M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Argentina), received a M.S. in HSE from the Universidad Tecnolgica Nacional (Argentina), and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Sloan Fellows Program), where he wrote a thesis on the oil industry strategy process.
In addition to his leadership role in the IAPG Houston, Jorge is also a member of the SPE since 1998.
