
Diego Diaz Baldasso, Past President of IAPG Houston is Repsol YPF Development Manager for North America & Brazil.
Diego has more than 11 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Business with Repsol YPF. During his career he has held various technical and managerial responsibilities in the areas of Petroleum Reservoir Engineering & Simulation, Reserves Reporting, Planning and Control. Diego is part of the team responsible for the substantial growth of Repsol YPF in North America.
Diego holds BS and MS degrees in Physics from Instituto Balseiro, Argentina, and has attended graduate and post-graduate level studies in petroleum engineering, economics and management at Stanford University, Colorado School of Mines, IAE and Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, Argentina.
In addition to his leadership role in IAPG Houston, Diego is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) where he has served as Program Chairman for its Patagonia Section. Diego is also a member of SUT (Society of Underwater Technology).
