Dave DeFelice

Dave DeFelice is the Manager of Training and Recruiting for the Oxy Geoscience community. In his 27 years with OXY, he has had diverse
experience in exploration geology, exploration management, EOR, and business development. Most recently as Geoscience Manager of OXY Libya in Tripoli, Dave helped train Oxy's  young Libyan geoscientists and spearheaded the IOC training initiative that pooled the talents of the
Libyan International geoscience community in a cooperative training effort. Prior to Dave's Libyan assignment, he worked in the Gulf of Mexico, continental United States, and Latin America exploration arenas including Argentina. 
David received degrees in Geology from Brooklyn College (B.S.), Duke University (M.S.), and Florida State University from which he received his Doctorate in 1979 working Southern Ocean paleoclimatology.
