Alberto D. Casco

Albert Casco, current Director of IAPG Houston, works as a Director Crisis Management South America for BP America, at the Westlake Park Complex in Houston. He has 25 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production industry built through various managerial and executive positions with Bridas and Pan American Energy in Argentina, and BP in U.S.

Alberto earned his B.S./M.S. in Chemical Engineering, and his postgraduate in Petroleum Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires. Throughout his career he has had different assignments within Argentina, and the U.S., with local/regional responsibilities in the areas of engineering, operations, HSE and quality management, and Crisis Management/Emergency Response.  Between 1992 and 1997 he chaired the Tierra del Fuego IAPG Branch.

Alberto has been being part of many working groups and forums and he has presented divers papers at national and international congress in both areas, technical and managerial. He taught numerous seminars on HSE and Quality Management, Strategic Planning and business Administration throughout Americas.
